Dr. Maggie Noon
Dr. Maggie Noon graduated from Northwestern University's Physical Therapy & Human Movement Sciences Program. While studying at Northwestern, Maggie gained clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics, acute care setting, and pediatrics.
Dr. Noon has worked with patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. While working in the acute care setting she has treated patients with traumatic brain injuries, total joint replacements, and post organ transplant patients. Dr. Noon's orthopedic rotation gave her many opportunities to evaluate and treat patients with conditions ranging from spine surgery to total joint replacement. Dr. Noon has a particular interest in the young athlete, as she has had the opportunity to work with high school athletes. During Dr. Noon's pediatric clinical rotation she had the opportunity to work in a level 3 NICU, as well as treat children with cerebral palsy, spinal muscular atrophy, spina bifida, and autism.
While at Northwestern University, Dr. Noon investigated the use of Informed-Shared Decision Making among outpatient physical therapists. Her research was accepted to be presented at the American Physical Therapy Association national conference in Las Vegas in February '09.
Dr. Noon graduated from Valparaiso University with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a minor in both Human Biology and Psychology. Dr. Noon was a member of the Division 1 Track and Field Team as a 400m hurdler earning the Presidential Academic Honor Award for athletes, as well as most inspirational athlete for 3 of her 4 years. Dr. Noon continues her passion for athletics and running, by running marathons and competing in various Olympic distance triathlons.
Dr. Noon has a passion for treating the whole person and ensuring that patients reach their full potential. She focuses on general wellness of the patient and encourages an overall healthy lifestyle.
